Online Registration is underway for Armour Up 2016: Undefeated!
We are super pumped about our theme this summer – UNDEFEATED – and our curriculum. Will Washington, our executive director, has prepared an amazing study on the four fundamentals of a relationship with Christ (Bible Study, Prayer, Fellowship & Service). It’s going to be awesome & we truly hope you join us!
As per tradition, we will be adding the names of each child who registers to the back of the AU t-shirt. In order to allow time for printing, the deadline for names being added to t-shirts will be Friday, April 1st. Please note that registration will carry on throughout the summer, however if your child is NOT registered by April 1st, his name will not appear on the t-shirt.
From past experience, this is what your child will look like if you forget to register him by April 1st.

As mentioned earlier, there is a lot of preparation that goes into planning for AU. In fact, these sweet volunteers met this morning and are eager to tackle whatever task is assigned. A huge thank you to our AU 2016 committee. My, how we’ve grown.
If you are new to Armour Up, please take a look at our website. It has everything from meeting dates to summer bible verses to resources to related media. Speaking of media, please take 2-3 minutes and listen to one of Will’s weekly recaps from last summer. He’s a gifted speaker and you can really get a feel for how he relates to the kids. If you aren’t interested in listening to him, one of my favorite things to do is go to the media page anyway and just marvel at the many different hand gestures of Will on the still screen.
How does one become so demonstrative with their digits?
On a more serious note, AU has come a long way in 5 1/2 years, and look forward to serving your children and our community even better in 2016.
One way we can serve you better is through communication. Please make sure you subscribe to our blog by entering your email in the top right corner of our website.
This will insure that you receive our emails. If your children are older and have an email address of their own, please subscribe them as well. We send out weekly recaps over the summer and this keeps them connected when they are out of town or away at camp.
