June 22nd recap – AU Undefeated

Another wonderful week in the books!  Thank you for continuing to send your children to Armour Up – Wednesdays are hands down our favorite day of the week!  Even though the PCBC projector was down again this week, Nathan and Will worked their magic and rolled with the punches.  It is amazing to watch these two rebound when things don’t go their way.  Way to go, guys!  Judging by our kids’ expressions, I don’t think they minded the digital hiccup:

Part of our mission statement is to ‘demonstrate God’s love to others’.  For the past few weeks, you have graciously helped us with our school supply drive for Arise Africa, and we are grateful.  Those supplies have been packed up and are ready to go to accompany some mission trippers next month to Zambia.  We feel blessed to be a tiny part of helping children across the globe.

We have another wonderful opportunity to help some precious kids right here in our own city.  The kids at Reach4Hope, a non profit organization in south Dallas, are in need of about 30 beach towels.  For the next 2 Wednesdays, we are offering a free American flag t-shirt from the Armour Up store in exchange for a new beach towel (note: there is a limit of one t-shirt per child, but you are welcome to donate more than one beach towel).  These children are 12 and under, so please keep that in mind when purchasing towels – smaller sized towels would be best!  Thanks in advance for your generosity.
