6/4 Update, but First…Let us Take a Selfie
It’s taken over 24 hours to recover from the first Armour Up of summer 2014! What an amazing experience had by all Wednesday night. Thank you to our many volunteers, our awesome kids, Will & Nathan, PCBC & staff, and YOU for allowing your child to be a part of this ministry. It was definitely a night that will go down in history as one of the best yet.
Our boys played some games, listened to hilarious announcements, and heard about Jesus’ disciples leaving behind all they knew to follow Him in Luke 5:1-11 (read more in our weekly newsletter AU Newsletter_6.4.14). iTunes gift cards & awesome ‘ALL IN’ wrist bands were given to lucky AU members for saying their memory verse, Colossians 3:17. Thank you to all who participated in the school supply drive for the Arise Africa organization. What a generous community in which we live! We will continue collecting donations for the next few weeks, so those who missed out this week will have an opportunity to donate to the precious children of Lusaka, Zambia. Items needed are markers, pencils, pens, post it notes, backpacks & map pencils. Thank you!!
In other news, Will announced a social media contest for the ‘most creative mention’ of Armour Up in either a post on Facebook or instagram or a tweet. If you or your child is not on social media, feel free to email submissions to info@armourupdallas.com. Don’t forget to include the name of your child, so they get credit! Contest ends at midnight 6/10.

Several of you brought guests on Wednesday and we THANK YOU for that!! Registration is still open and those kids are welcome to sign up online and join us all summer long.
Next week’s theme is FIFA FURY (6/11), so have your kids dress in their soccer best. We’d prefer they wear their Armour Up ‘ALL IN’ t-shirt if not participating in the theme or wearing a soccer jersey. Safety is of utmost importance and we need to see at a glance who is in our group. Thank you for helping reinforce this to the kids.
