Boys.  There’s just something about putting them all into a room together.  I grew up surrounded by girls, so I am extremely intrigued by the male species.  Last night at Armour Up was no exception.  I don’t know if it was the physicality, the lack of spatial awareness or the constant display of referee gesturing, but the testosterone-o-meter was reading high.

It looked a little something like this…

Yes, that.  Somehow it works and they all seem to speak the same language, however.  One that I have yet to master.

I do know that some awesome parent speaks my language because they dressed their son in a hockey jersey underneath their UNDEFEATED shirt.  Taking it to a whole new level of listening.  THANK YOU, mystery mom.  Let’s be friends.

Will Washington delivered an outstanding message on reading God’s word.   You wish you’d heard it, you say?  Well, click here and you can.  We’re getting all fancy on you.  (That’s what happens when you have 20 somethings on staff).

For those who are visual learners, click on the title of this blog above to watch this fun recap video.  You might just catch a glimpse of your kiddo being, well, a boy.  (if you are reading this via email, this video will read as an error – please click on title of blog above to view video).

One thing is for sure, though.  Boys are awesome.  Even though they make strange noises and smell funny, we LOVE ministering to them each week.   Thank you for allowing us that privilege.
