What an amazing summer this has been! We had a great time at our Summer Bash, and we appreciate everyone who volunteered and who sent their children. After a few sno-cones and cookies, they all looked about like this…

Also, we are excited to announce our first annual father/son baseball fundraising event on November 13, 2014 from 6-8pm. Not only will we have a great time, but we will be working together with our special guest, Clayton Kershaw, & Kershaw’s Challenge to raise money for those in need in both West Dallas (through Mercy Street) and Africa (through Arise Africa). (This is an Armour Up ONLY event and only those children registered will be allowed to attend. A limited number of tickets will be sold online in advance. Please read your emails in the next few weeks regarding ticket information). We are grateful to the Kershaws for partnering with us and look forward to a successful night!
Here’s what Clayton was doing last November 13th, when he was chosen as the Cy Young award winner. It will be a toss up to see which event is more exciting for him. 😉
Lastly, we would love for your boys to get PLUGGED IN to a Bible study or small group in the fall. Please check out our resource page to see some options that are available in the area. As a reminder, Will Washington will be leading the 5th/6th graders at PCBC on Wednesday nights. If you don’t already have a church home or Bible study, please consider joining him!
